"A Once Upon A Time"
This custom painting tells a story of music and was commissioned for a CD Album Cover. The name of the album is A Once Upon A Time and in keeping with that magical theme and the song lyrics written and performed by Bobby Dreher is this custom 24"x 48" x 2" original acrylic on a custom built hardboard, with gallery wrap. A huge inspiration is his niece who is represented in the topiary dragon and in faces around the painting, love icons and hearts. Bobby is captured as the flying rock star with his guitar and wings, as he flies through a trip through music memories from the years gone by. Childhood dreams and guitar shaped clouds, tributes to The 60-70's music inspired imagery and fantasy landscapes take the viewer on this musical painted journey. Incredible amounts of detail are painted in this complex piece that enthralls the viewer with an array of colors.Tall men playing horns, walking instruments, flying coffee cups and surrealistic designs make this fairytale painting a trip to remember, as everyone deserves a "Happy Ending."
